Water resource and hydrology investigations require summaries and analyses that use available hydrologic data in standard formats, periods and methods so that the resultant information is consistent and allows direct comparison of different sites. To fulfill this goal a project was initiated in the 1995-1996 fiscal year with funding by the Corporate Resource Inventory Initiative (CRII). The culmination of this project was the production of the report, British Columbia Streamflow Inventory (BCSI), by the Resources Inventory Branch (RIB) in the 1997-1998 fiscal year.
