In 2014, D. Burt and Associates was awarded funding through the Fish and Wildlife
Compensation Program (FWCP) to develop a fish and fish habitat restoration plan for anadromous
reaches of the Jordan River. Partners in this project included the Fisheries Section of the Pacheedaht
First Nation and Northwest Hydraulic Consultants.

The purpose of this report was to develop a set of restoration projects that can be undertaken in
future years to assist in the recovery of the anadromous runs that once occurred in the lower Jordan River. The report does not provide detailed engineering feasibilities for identified projects as these will be developed as individual projects are addressed. The report does however, provide preliminary feasibly considerations based on field investigations in summer 2014.
