The purpose of this report is to review and summarize available seedling fertilization information to identify promising treatments and treatment combinations; and to make specific recommendations regarding the direction and scope of future seedling fertilization research and operations. Throughout the report, special reference is made to interior spruce because of its pre-eminent position within the provincial reforestation program and its special problems with respect to "planting check".
