This survey was conducted as part of the forest health component (activity # 1.523) of the Forest Resource Inventory Sub-program of FRDA II. Sites were selected from a list provided by the British Columbia Ministry of Forests Silviculture Branch that identified sites by Forest District, biogeoclimatic zone, stand treatment, and opening reference number. The sites were surveyed between June and October 1991 using the Forest Insect and Disease Survey Pests of Young Stands (POYS) survey methodology. Information on the incidence and intensity of pests and ibiotic damage, and comments on the silvicultural treatments were recorded at each site.
