This report discusses a conceptual and practical aspects of a model designed to identify the most economically efficient silviculture treatments required to achieve a given biological outcome in a decision-making environment involving uncertainty. This model represents an adaptation of the Silviculture Decision Support System (SDSS) model of McDaniel's et al 1991 and is referred to here as "COSTMIN."
