One significant deviation has occurred in the methods to be used in this project, described in methods (regarding the scope of statements in the Q sorts). We have experienced delays due to personnel issues, which we have addressed in terms of recruiting new graduate students. We have encountered some obstacles in recruiting First Nations to participate. Two are confirmed participants at present. Our desire is to recruit one more to serve as a test of a general-form Q sort created based upon the current Q sort statements. This may or may not be feasible, depending upon the desires of another First Nation.
