Abstract: The commercial mushroom harvest, a non-timber forest product of British Columbia generates millions of dollars in provincial economies. There are around 80 economically important macro-fungi of the province used for culinary or pharmaceutical purposes. This project will describe in detail macro and micro morphological features, ecology and habitats and distributions as well as a number of different features of these species. Species that are morphologically similar will also be described. Synonyms and nomenclatural changes will also be included in the species descriptions. Results from this research will be posted on the World Wide Web and will be hosted by FORREX Sharmin Gamiet...[et al.]
