Abstract: The instream portion of the Nimpkish Enhancing Environmental Values Program (EEVP), formerly the Watershed Restoration Program (WRP), began in the summer of 1995 with Overview and Level 1 assessments of the Kilpala, Lukwa, Davie and Yookwa sub-basins of the Nimpkish River. Level 2 prescriptions followed the Level 1 assessments and in 1997 construction of instream structures began in the Kilpala, Lukwa and Davie River sub-basins. Since 1997 construction has proceeded in fourteen sub-basins within the Nimpkish Watershed, funded by Forest Renewal B.C. (1995 -2001), and more recently (since 2002), the Forest Investment Account (FIA). To date, seven hundred and eighty-five individual structures have been built at fifty-two sites. The reference section of this report provides a complete listing of the technical documents produced for the instream portion of the Nimpkish River EEV Program since 1995. This report presents the results of the February/March 2004 Routine Effectiveness Evaluation (REE) of seventeen sites that were scheduled for monitoring (Table 1-A).
