Abstract: Complete permanent road deactivation (with no access) of approximately 1.1 km of road in the Lower Cotton Creek drainage (between 13-14 km on the Cotton Creek Main Road). The prescriptions for this work are directed at re-establishing a functioning riparian zone and stream channel along this section of the Cotton Creek road. This portion of the road is a significant sediment source into Cotton Creek. Although this section of Cotton Creek is non-fish bearing, the lowest reaches of Cotton Creek (downstream of the highway crossing) is a Kokanee spawning area. Cotton Creek is not within a community watershed but has licensed domestic water supply users. Marcie Belcher.
