Abstract: In spring of 1999, on contract to West Fraser Mills Ltd, we began establishing a series of operational trials designed to assess the effectiveness of disk trenching on a range of sites within Fraser Lake Sawmills? chart areas in the Nadina (formerly Lakes and Morice) and Vanderhoof Forest Districts. Experimental design, methods, and progress during the 1999?2004 field seasons have been documented in the working plan and in progress reports for each year of the project.1 This report includes a summary of progress achieved during 2005, a summary and discussion of the complete set of fifth-year results, and a schedule for remaining measurements and reporting. A table listing the location and site characteristics of all trials is included as Appendix 1. Anne Macadam and Rick Trowbridge.
