Abstract: Phase 1 - Watershed Assessment of Current Condition of Study Area - Non Community Watersheds Only: Assessment of watershed's current condition to December 31, 2006 in accordance to the Watershed Assessment Standards (2001). The key objectives of Phase 1 are: - Review existing watershed conditions information (i.e. IWAPs, etc), - Undertake professional watershed assessments to determine the current condition and status, - Report to include recommendations in specific watersheds as to forward looking management strategies to address the future impacts of MPB on the study area (i.e. Watershed or Landscape Unit), - Phase 1 deliverables will include 1 Draft Interim Report (per study location) documenting the watershed assessment and signed by a professional Engineer and/or Forester specializing in forestland hydrology. - Note: As both FRPA and the 2006 FSP for Gorman Bros. Lumber Ltd. do not address watershed assessments in Non Community Watersheds, watershed assessments are included as a deliverable for both Rock Lake and Hatheume Lake sub-basins only.
