In September 2006 Quesnel River Environmental (QRE) was retained by West Fraser Mills Ltd., to develop bioengineering prescriptions for the rehabilitation of Landslide 4H6. An initial project consultation occurred between Mr. Chris Nowotny (Nowotny Applied Biological Services, FIA Project Coordinator) and Quesnel River Environmental representative Robert Mills, at which time project scope and objectives were discussed. This bioengineering prescription for landslide rehabilitation includes: project background information; a description of restoration objectives; prescription methodology; site level information; a discussion of results and recommendations; detailed site plans and overview illustrations that identify proposed treatments.
