A non-status road risk rating evaluation has been completed on priority roads in the Loon and Lutely Creek project area. Key resources at stake in the evaluation include: demostic water quality onlower Loon and Lutely Creeks, public and private road infrastucture, and private land. Permanent road deactivation prescriptions have been prepared for high and very high risk roads and road sections, consistent with standards as follows:
-FIA General Standards for Ministry funded Programs,
-FIA Standards for Road Deactivation, Landslide and Gully Rehabilitation Projects, and
-Forest Planning and Practices Regulations applicable to roads.
