The purpose of this project was to mitigate the hazard of landslides or significant erosion from nonmaintained drainage occurring from E Branch and to repair the road for local recreation use. The road conditions were visually evaluated for stability and road drainage issues. From this evaluation a road reactivation prescription was prepared to mitigate the identified hazards. It was not within the project scope to assess the open slope conditions beyond the road right of way. Replacement of the bridge at the beginning of the project was also necessary to re-establish access along the E Branch road. Brushing out 1700 m of the E100 road was added to this project to improve access to a rock quarry and fertilization staging site.
The project is not located within a community watershed.
