The primary goal of this Ingerated Riparian Assessment is to provide strategic direction to forest planners implementing riparian retention at the operational level such that the result maintains riparian values and meets the intent of teh FSC BC Standard. This report represents the first phase of this process where Riparian managment regions and assessment units are delineated and riparian retention budgets and current conditions are determined. A subsequent phase is planned to provide detailed management direction for each of the Assessment Units.
