In 2008 Interfor completed Fish Passage Culvert Assessments on selected watersheds on TFL 23. Based on the fish barrier scoring tool (MoE 2008), the three culverts under this project had cumulative scores above 20 and were determined to be barriers. As the culverts were located on non-status roads that had limited ATV access, the prescribed restoration treatment was to remove the culverts and restore the channel. The work was carried out under the FIA Road Deactivation activity.
