Redfish Creek is a small but important tributary stream of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. During autumn of 1975, adult kokanee in Redfish Creek were visually enumerated and some females were sampled for length and fecundity. In the spring of 1976, a relative measure of kokanee fry production from Redfish Creek was estimated and compared with estimated fry production in 1973. Apparent year class strength of West Arm kokanee stocks as reflected in spawning runs in Redfish Creek is discussed.
