This report to the Interdepartmental Pesticides Committee provides an overview of areas of concern regarding pesticide use in the province, namely the threat that it poses to fish, wildlife, and human health, and the loss of wildlife habitat that results from herbicide usage. Recommendations for appropriate use of chemicals for control purposes are also presented.
