In 1995, the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks began a multi-year study of the Fraser River white sturgeon aimed at defining their status and characteristics. This report presents findings from the second year of the Fraser River White Sturgeon Monitoring Program in Region 7 (Omineca-Peace) and provides comparison with data obtained during the initial phase of the program in 1995. Information on sturgeon size, growth, distribution, habitat, reproductive development. and movements is presented.
