A Fish Habitat Improvement Section assessment was conducted on major tributaries of Cultus Lake in 1981 (Russell 1982). Frosst and Watt Creeks were identified as having the greatest potential for instream enhancement work. This field reconnaissance was set up on-site to discuss suitable enhancement methodologies, placement of structures and priorization of recommendations with Regional staff as a result of the 1981 investigations.
