Describes the results of a five-year research and inventory program began in 1995 as part of the BC government’s commitment to implement recommendations of the Clayoquot Sound Scientific Panel (1995). The study was designed to provide empirical data for management of murrelets, both inland and at sea, and to monitor the effects of changes occurring in Clayoquot Sound. Our study also tested and refined methods that can be applied to the conservation of Marbled Murrelet habitat throughout its range.
