This report covers work completed for the Muskwa wolf management program for the 1986-87 biological year. Wolves increased 40% in the program area since the previous March largely through immigration, especially of blacks. Ungulate juvenile survival declined sharply (1/2 to 2/3) from previous years when wolves were managed.
