Recent management plans and status statements for caribou in British Columbia have identified the need for better data on population composition and number, and for the development of improved and standardized inventory methods. This report describes inventory-related studies involving a sample of radio-collared animals in the Spatsizi Wilderness Park area of northern British Coumbia, and discusses past and current inventory there and elsewhere in the province in relation to the telemetry findings.
