This problem analysis was initiated as a means of identifying and developing habitat enhancement objectives and recommendations to maintain biodiversity of the Chilcotin-Cariboo grasslands. The report includes lists of plant and wildlife species known to occur in the region, identifies priority habitats and species for future enhancement programs, identifies existing and potential conflicts between wildlife habitat requirements and grassland management programs, and presents a working plan of suggested reasearch, inventory, monitoring, and management recommendations to conserve grassland biodiversity.
