The VGI Vision Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to encourage the gathering and free flow of environmental data. Through web-based technology the Foundation is building up an environmental database to provide data for resource managers, industry, government agencies and amateur naturalist communities. A major function of the Foundation is to encourage volunteer participation in research and monitoring activities. Currently the Foundation is coordinating the operation of the Rocky Point Migration Monitoring Project. The poster presentation highlights the objectives of the organization and displays results from the Rocky Point project.
