Abstract: The potential for a grizzly bear recovery plan in the North Cascades region of southwestern British Columbia has been studied over the last decade, concurrent with a similar initiative on the U. S. side of the border. The grizzly bear population in this region, including Manning Provincial Park, is now considered isolated.
