This report documents a review of the diets of hatchery raised trout in BC. Before this report, hatchery trout survived mainly on a diet of animal livers, although this was not the healthiest option. The authors of this report travelled to hatcheries in Oregon and Washington State to observe the effects of new fish diets. They also reviewed available literature to provide hatchery operators with more information so they could produce the healthiest fish possible.
