The study focuses on four main criteria: The constraints limiting the use of septic tank waste disposal systems in the area; The suitability of the study area for this method of waste disposal; the estimated quantities of nitrogen and phosphorous loading delivered to the waterbodies at present; given current zoning, the estimated potential nitrogen and phosphorous loadings should the area become fully developed.
