The Survey of Agricultural Practices in the Thompson Basin initiative involved coordinating Environment Canada's abatement program under the Fraser River Action Plan with regional Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks responsibilites for the Agricultural Waste Control Regulation and the associated "Code" of agricultural practice. The Project focused on agricultural activities primarily related to livestock operations in the Thompson basin but, in the last year also included the Cariboo region.
