Golden Source Apportionment Study: Quality Assurance Project Plan BC Ministry of Water Land and Air Protection
2005

Abstract: The purpose of this document is to provide a QA/QC framework for the Golden source apportionment study 2004-2006. Quality assurance (QA) for a field program such as the Golden speciation study integrates quality control (QC), audits and measurement validation. QC is intended to prevent, identify, correct, and define measurement difficulties and to provide the QC test data needed to quantify the precision accuracy and validity of the data (Hafner, 2004). QA/QC protocols are included in this document for all instruments and parameters identified in the study. Most protocols are derived from Environment Canada/NAPS manuals except where EPA and WLAP protocols are more appropriate.
