This report finalizes our study of water quality in the Lower Columbia River Basin. In a Phase 1 study, we analyzed data collected up to 1975. The main influences on the Columbia River were the Hugh Keenleyside Dam, the Canadian Cellulose pulp mill near Castlegar, the cominco metallurgical and fertilizer plant at Trail, and the cities of Castlegar and Trail.
