Nicola Lake was cored on July 20, 1998 using a modified K-B corer (internal diameter ~6.35 cm). The cores were subsampled for diatom, pigment and 210Pb analyses. Results suggest that observed changes in diatom assemblages, salinity, and total phosphorus may be linked with climate change and changes in lake levels.
