The purpose of the workshops was to provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the initiative and to stimulate dialogue and feedback on the six issue areas, and the associated consultation questions, identified in the discussion paper. The six issue areas include: One or several regulations; Performance measures; Roles and responsibilities; Approval criteria; Governance; Monitoring, compliance and enforcementAs well, participants were requested to offer any additional comments on the structure and content of the proposed regulatory framework.As a result of low numbers of attendees, the workshops in Prince George, Kelowna and Nanaimo were structured to facilitate discussion and input in a small group setting. Participants were seated at tables that were arranged in an open-ended rectangle so that participants could interact with each other and with the facilitator.
