The 1995 point source air emission inventory for B.C. outside the Lower Fraser Valley, which was originally based on the B.C. Environment permit fee database (WASTE), has been revised by using company estimates, production data, and other sources of data. The revised estimateshave been used to prepare emission forecasts to 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020 as well as backcasts to 1990 and 1985. Forecasts and backcasts have been prepared for the common five contaminats (CO, NOx, particulate (PM), SOx and VOC), fine particulates (PM10 and PM2.5) and the three dominant greenhouse gases (CO2, N2O and CH4).
