This report provides the final results of a three year study to develop a sustainability indicator of aquatic ecosystem health. The indicator, combined with other indicators of aquatic ecosystem sustainability, will serve as a monitoring and assessment feedback mechanism to determine the effectiveness of forest practices in protecting valued aquatic resources. It will also be used in managing point and non-point discharges.
