The review of the Lead-Acid Battery Collection Program was conducted as part of a larger assignment that reviews the current industry and government managed product stewardship programs in BC and other relevant jurisdictions; and provides recommendations on principles and business delivery options for product stewardship in BC.
Generally, the Lead-Acid Battery Collection Program has been successful in preventing the buildup of stagnant battery stockpiles.
