Abstract |
To provide a foundation for a plan that balances all interests in the Kootenays, CORE conducted widespread consultations aimed at the establishment of a multi-party negotiation table. During this consultation process, many residents expressed a strong feeling that there were sufficient differences between the East and West Kootenays that each should have its own regional process and land use plan. Consequently, separate negotiation tables were set up for the East Kootenay and West Kootenay-Boundary regions. | ||||||||||||||||||
