Kelvin Creek Deactivation

Abstract
Several old wood culverts on old logging roads rotted and collapsed, infilling the creek channels with gravel/ organic debris wedges. This caused several small creeks to re-route, partly following these roads. The clay bank, 30 meters above Kelvin Creek was destabilized by these diversions. Consequently a significant slide occured and hundreds of cubic meters of clay material was introduced into Kelvin Creek. The lower reaches of Kelvin Creek are fish habitat. This process continued.
