Abstract |
Road deactivation of Branch Road SL270 was carried out to reduce the likelihood of landslides or sedimentation to a low level. Resources at risk consisted of the fish bearing waters of the Big Tree Creek / Salmon River Watershed. Branch road SL 270 crossed several S3 and S4 streams and the older log culverts over them had failed and were blocking fish access to and from Spirit Lake. A section of the SL 270 branch road beyond the Spirit Lake campsite and boat launch was permanently deactivated and vehicle access blocked. Brad Bodnar, Rick MacDonald, Jeff Sandford. | ||||||
