This report presents the results and recommendations of a three month study of the upper Zymoetz River and five of its tributaries. The study was designed to obtain additional fisheries information in preparation for steelhead enhancement work under the Salmonid Enhancement Program. This study is intended to provide detailed habitat evaluation and estimates of present habitat utilization in the upper Zymoetz River. The objectives were to determine the distribution of steelhead, rainbow and cutthroat trout and coho salmon in the area, to inventory existing fish habitat and assess present habitat utilization, and to recommend enhancement possibilities.
