In the spring of 1992 an arrangement was made with the Skeena Fisheries Commission to live capture and tag adult steelhead at Moricetown Falls. The objectives of this project were to encourage live caputre fishing techniques and to gain additional information on Bulkley and Morice River steelhead migration patterns and run timing.

In the spring of 1992 an arrangement was made with the Skeena Fisheries Commission to live capture and tag adult steelhead at Moricetown Falls. The steelhead were to be captured in dip nets and held alive in a holding pen until they could be tagged and released daily by BC Environment personnel. The objectives of this project were to encourage live capture fishing techniques and to gain additional information on Bulkley and Morice River steelhead migration patterns and run timing.
