A review of all information on Kitwanga River steelhead was conducted in March 1997. Management recommendations include maintenance of current regulations, enhanced protection of the Kitwanga steelhead holding in the Skeena and correction of culvert probems. Recommendations for future studies are offered.

A review of all information on Kitwanga River steelhead available from BC Ministry of Environment Lands and Parks, Skeena Region, Canada Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Repap Inc., native bands and federal and provincial ministry staff was conducted in March 1997. Management recommendations include maintenance of current regulations, enhanced protection of the Kitwanga steelhead holding in the Skeena and correction of culvert probems. Recommendations for future studies are offered.
