Through time the cultural history of a area is usually confined by the geographic limitations of its major watersheds, and at a first glance this would be true of the three parks under discussion. Not only are there three different landscape represented, but also the influence of four major watersheds, and a number of different linguistic and cultural groups who have a cultural heritage found within their boundaries.
