Water well records from the GWELLS database were integrated with mapping of geology, topography, streams and springs to map aquifers on Vancouver Island in the vicinity of Port McNeill, Malcolm Island, North Campbell River, Quadra Island and Comox-Merville. More detailed analysis was conducted in the Comox-Merville area to understand the greater geological complexity and water resource development of this area.
