The objective of the work was to provide background information to inform stream crossing structure determination as part of road upgrade activities planned for 2021. Electrofishing and minnow trapping was conducted on tributaries to Revelstoke Lake. Electrofishing was conducted on a tributary to Old Goldstream Creek. New Graph Environment was subcontracted by Nupqu Development Corporation to provide services to Chartwell Resource Group Ltd. to conduct fisheries assessments in tributaries to Revelstoke Lake that were crossed by BC Hydro transmission line right of way access roads. The objective of the work was to provide background information to inform stream crossing structure determination as part of road upgrade activities planned for 2021. Electrofishing and minnow trapping was conducted on tributaries to Revelstoke Lake. Electrofishing was conducted on a tributary to Old Goldstream Creek. No fish were caught on any surveys. Draft BC Hydro Location Access Plan and Road Prescription Maps for Mica Circuit 5L071 were provided by Parim Tee Solutions with individual road/stream crossing locations referenced as road/stream crossing waypoint (WP) numbers. The study area was located approximately 75km north of Revelstoke, BC near Downie Arm, on multiple tributaries to Revelstoke Lake reservoir flowing into the reservoir from the east. The streams drained primarily west facing slopes in areas where steep gradients near the reservoir are prevalent and seasonal dewatering is common.
