A list of bird species which can be observed in this park located on the Sunshine Coast 7 km west of Sechelt. It contains shingle beach, a small lake with cattail marsh, and an upland area of second growth forest. Excellent birding varies by season: in winter there are many waterbirds on the bay; in spring there are migrant warblers and vireos; in summer the upland forest is good for flycatchers and Western Tanagers; in fall the lake sees a variety of ducks and the berm, sparrows. Bald Eagles and other raptors are quite common in all seasons.
