Abstract: A list of the bird species which may be observed on the Sunshine Coast. It is possible to see 50 species in 2 - 3 hours at any time of the year. Habitats include marine, freshwaterlakes, estuaries, intertidal mudflats, rocky shores, beaches, spits, islets and wave washed rocks, coniferous and deciduous forest, urband and suburban, airports and golf courses, and alpine and sub-alpine wilderness with peaks to 2500 meters.
