This problem analysis was undertaken to identify the nature and extent of reforestation problems in the ICHg subzone in the Prince Rupert Forest Region. Data were obtained from four sources: questionnaire results from local foresters, Ministry of Forests history record reports, field sampling, and a literature review. Topics requiring future research and the ICHg are identified. The highest priority is determining the correlation among pre-harvest vegetation, silvicultural treatments, and post-treatment vegetation.
