The Mackenzie TSA licensees implemented a Site Index Adjustment (SIA) project to develop improved site productivity estimates for timber supply modeling. J.S. Thrower & Associates Ltd. (JST) completed the project using a biophysical model approach and random sampling to develop improved site productivity estimates for managed stands of lodgepole pine (PI) and spruce (Sx) for the next Timber Supply Review (TSR3).
