The Mt. Tom adaptive management trial involves application and monitoring of group selection silvicultural systems on an operational scale in caribou habitat in the Quesnel Highland near Wells, BC. Information gained from the trial complements information being gathered on a replicated research trial near Likely, BC and aids in implementation of the Mountain Caribou Strategy under the Cariboo-Chilcotin Land Use Plan.
